Marian Blakely APRN, FNP-C is a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner at Gastro One. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and further advanced her medical expertise by completing her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Memphis. Her commitment to patient care is evident through her diverse clinical experiences and her previous role as a Registered Nurse at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare.

Marian brings a unique perspective to patient care, combining clinical expertise with a talent for patient education. Her experience as a Corporate Float Nurse has honed her adaptability and ability to provide high-quality care in various healthcare settings. Marian’s clinical rotations in primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, and urgent care have equipped her with a well-rounded skill set, perfectly suited for addressing the diverse needs of gastroenterology patients. Her warm demeanor and professional approach make her an invaluable addition to our team at Gastro One, ensuring that patients receive compassionate, competent care tailored to their individual needs.

Originally from Mound Bayou, MS, Marian has been in Memphis for over 20 years. She served as an elementary school teacher, college professor, and K through 12 school administrator for 18 years before transitioning into nursing. Marian is married with four children; she loves spending time with her family and binge watching her favorite shows in her spare time.
