Joseph Brock Shemwell, FNP-C

Joseph Brock Shemwell, MSN, FNP-C is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Loewenberg College of Nursing at the University of Memphis in 2010. Demonstrating a commitment to advancing his expertise, he pursued further education and obtained his Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from the same institution in 2020.

Brock’s dedication to improving patient care is evident through his participation in the Unit Practice Council at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital, where he served as President from 2017 to 2018. His commitment to excellence was also recognized when he received the Nursing Star award in 2019 for his outstanding contributions to their Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

Brock’s experience spans over a decade giving him the ability to manage complex cases and provide high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. His passion for gastroenterology, coupled with his extensive experience in critical care and his compassionate approach, makes him a valuable asset to Gastro One and the patients we serve.
