Dr. Marjan Haider
Marjan Haider, MD, is a dedicated and compassionate gastroenterologist with a strong commitment to patient care, education, and evidence-based medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Trinity Health Ann Arbor before pursuing fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Throughout his training, Dr. Haider has developed extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, while building expertise in endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and PEG tube placement.
Dr. Haider brings a broad clinical background to Gastro One, with experience caring for patients in inpatient, outpatient, and critical care settings. His clinical approach emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, evidence-based treatment, and strong communication with patients and their families. He is particularly passionate about gastroenterology and hepatology and is committed to providing comprehensive, individualized care while helping patients better understand and participate in their health and treatment decisions.
In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Haider has demonstrated a strong commitment to medical education and research. He has contributed to numerous publications and research projects involving gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatic and biliary disorders, colonoscopy quality, Barrett’s esophagus, and other areas of gastroenterology. He has presented his work at national medical conferences, including Digestive Disease Week and the American College of Gastroenterology, and has a particular interest in continuing to grow as both a clinician and medical educator.
Dr. Haider’s dedication to his patients, enthusiasm for gastroenterology, and commitment to lifelong learning make him a valuable addition to Gastro One and a trusted partner in his patients’ digestive health and overall well-being. Outside of medicine, Dr. Haider enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and exploring new places. He is also an avid soccer fan and enjoys following Manchester United.
