Peter Snell, DO, is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis where he also served as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Snell is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
As a fellow, Dr. Snell was awarded the Emerging Liver Scholar Award from the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), and he currently is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and American Gastroenterology Association (AGA). His interest is in general gastroenterology.
Dr. Snell enjoys mountain biking, spending time with his wife and three children, participating with his church, and cheering on the Memphis Grizzlies. Dr. Snell speaks English.
