Nikita Pryor, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Nikita Pryor, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner at Gastro One. With over 17 years of versatile nursing experience, she has developed extensive expertise in pediatrics, med-surg, community health, and long-term/memory care nursing. Her commitment to patient care and education is exemplified by her receipt of the Daisy in Training award in 2016.

Nikita’s academic journey includes a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baptist Health Sciences University in Memphis, TN. She began her nursing career as a licensed practical nurse after completing her education at NWCC in Senatobia, MS.

Throughout her career, Nikita has been instrumental in conducting thorough patient assessments and physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic studies, and providing health education to patients and their families. Her professional experience includes Family Nurse Practitioner at Well Child, where she screened patients with chronic and acute conditions, and registered nurse at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital specializing in asthma/allergy/immunology care. She has also held leadership roles as nurse manager and diabetic educator at Northeast MS Healthcare.

Her dedication to healthcare is further demonstrated by her active membership in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau. Nikita’s compassionate approach to patient care makes her a valuable asset to Gastro One and the communities we serve.

In her spare time, Nikita enjoys spending time with her husband and children, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
