Dr. Michael Dragutsky earned his undergraduate with honors at Texas A&M University and his MD degrees summa cum laude at Texas A&M College of Medicine. He completed his Internship and Residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN, serving as Chief Resident and his Fellowship at University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Secretary of the Digestive Health Physicians Association, and member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association, and the Association for Bariatric Endoscopy. He holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Dr. Dragutsky is currently President and a Managing Partner of Gastro One. He serves as Treasurer of the Digestive Health Physicians Association. He is active in his community, serving as Board Member of the Brooks Museum of Art, Goodwill Homes Community Service and Temple Israel. He and his wife Beni enjoy world travel and the performing arts.
He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Cornerstone Cellars, a critically acclaimed boutique Napa Valley winery. He is a firm believer that red wine improves one’s gut health!
