Christy Baker, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Christy Baker, MSN, APRN FNP-C is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner at Gastro One. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where she was on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence. Driven by a passion for patient care, Christy pursued nursing, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University. She was a member in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Nu Lambda Chapter. Christy’s commitment to excellence in healthcare is evident in her academic achievements, culminating in a Master of Science in Nursing (FNP) from Austin Peay State University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

With over a decade of experience in various healthcare settings, Christy has developed her skills in critical care, post-anesthesia care, and same-day surgery. Her tenure at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare provided her with extensive experience in managing complex patient cases, including post-operative care for cardiac and vascular procedures. Christy’s clinical rotations in family medicine and primary care have further enhanced her expertise in those settings. She is currently a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Her proven ability to build positive relationships with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals makes her an invaluable member of our team. Christy’s passion for gastroenterology, coupled with her compassionate approach to patient care, positions her to deliver highly efficient and exceptional care to the patients at Gastro One.
