Christy Baker, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Christy Baker, MSN, APRN FNP-C is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner at Gastro One. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where she was on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence from 1998-2000. Driven by a passion for patient care, Christy pursued nursing, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University in 2011. Christy’s commitment to excellence in healthcare is evident in her academic achievements, culminating in a Master of Science in Nursing (FNP) from Austin Peay State University in 2023, where she graduated summa cum laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Her academic prowess earned her membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Nu Lambda Chapter.

With over a decade of experience in various healthcare settings, Christy has honed her skills in critical care, post-anesthesia care, and same-day surgery. Her tenure at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare from 2012 to 2023 provided her with extensive experience in managing complex patient cases, including post-operative care for cardiac and vascular procedures. Christy’s clinical rotations at Easley Delones Family Medicine and Kirby Primary Care have further enhanced her expertise in primary care settings.

Her proven ability to build positive relationships with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals makes her an invaluable member of our team. Christy’s passion for gastroenterology, coupled with her compassionate approach to patient care, positions her to deliver highly efficient and exceptional care to the patients at Gastro One.
