Maryam Mubashir, MD

Dr. Maryam Mubashir is a highly skilled and compassionate gastroenterologist currently practicing at Gastro One. Her journey in medicine began with a strong academic foundation, culminating in her MBBS degree from Rawalpindi Medical College, University of Health Sciences, in 2011. Dr. Mubashir’s post-graduate training includes a residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center at Weill Cornell University in New York from 2018 to 2021. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, LA from 2021 to 2024, further honing her skills in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal disorders.

Throughout her medical journey, Dr. Mubashir has been actively involved in research and scholarly activities, with numerous publications in prestigious medical journals and presentations at national conferences. Her research interests span a wide range of gastroenterological topics, including innovative endoscopic techniques and the long-term effects of COVID-19 on liver function.

Dr. Mubashir’s dedication to patient care extends beyond her clinical practice.
