Mallory Dixon, DNP FNP-C

Mallory Dixon, DNP, FNP-C is a dedicated nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology at Gastro One. Her journey in healthcare began at the University of Memphis where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2012. Her commitment to excellence continued at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018. Mallory’s passion for patient care was evident early on, as she also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2011.

Throughout her career, Mallory has gained extensive experience in various healthcare settings. She honed her skills as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department from 2012 to 2018, where she provided comprehensive care to patients of all ages and acuity levels. Her expertise further expanded as she took on the role of Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department, managing complex cases and performing various clinical procedures. Mallory’s diverse background includes experience in urgent care and primary care settings, where she assessed, diagnosed, and treated a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Her compassionate approach and broad experience make her a valuable asset to the team at Gastro One and the patients she serves.

In her free time, Mallory enjoys reading, exercising, and cheering on the UT Volunteers and Memphis Tigers. She also cherishes time spent with her family, including her husband and two children.
